We celebrated 4th of JuLY this year with family in Grandview, Iowa!
We went to the parade and enjoyed time spent with loved ones!

After the parade, Bryan and Jill's church puts together a "game time" in their gym. Brett took the kids to it and they had a good time!
The kids played at the Grandview park before and after the parade...
In the afternoon after a little rest...
....we drove to John and Bethany's (friends of the family) new house in the country.I am not a big fan of living out in the middle of nowhere but I enjoyed the open floor design of the house and the few acres backyard and the huge white barn and pool...not too bad, I'd say.
The kids enjoyed throwing the ball for Brynn (Bryce and Nicole's dog) to fetch...
Brayden helped Gpa with chores before they both joined the party making a big entrance on the 4wheeler
We had a picnic at John and Bethany's
...and Colton had fun with the ketchup
Brett played ball with Brayden
and we later snuggled up in our lawn chairs and watched the fireworks from their backyard.
What a fun 4th of July weekend did we have!!!!!
