Field trip to HYVEE!

Every Wednesday we get together with our homeschooling group.

We study Science and Social Studies together, art and if we have time, we have PE as well.

*Our first unit for Science this year, was "LIFE ON THE FARM."

To learn more about produce that comes from farms, we went on a field trip to a local HyVee.

The kids learned so much and it was a fun experience!

We are on Week 5 of homeschooling and is going really well! Amongst the many things that Kylie is learning, she is also learning to decode words. This -beginning reader- stage is a lot of fun for her and she now enjoys reading the"High Five" magazine by herself!!! okay, with a little help ;)
